The Physician Leader in Social Media
A couple weeks ago I sent a PM message on twitter to Kevin Pho of KevinMD.com, a leading physician voice on the Interwebs and social media, asking if he would consider sharing one of my posts.
To my surprise, he responded and said he would send it off for editing and to go on his site. I’m not sure if he’s desperate for content or if he even read my post, however I was very excited he agreed to share it.
This blog is less than 4 weeks old and I’m still sorting everything out, so having readers of his site learn about my writing will hopefully bring more people directly to this site. That in turn will keep me motivated to continue writing. That in turn will benefit all of humanity in ways. The most likely outcome is peace in the Middle East.
The KevinMD post was based on this one — my first mistake as a physician. I have no idea what changes have been made as I have not yet seen the edited one for his site. I read and re-read and spellcheck/grammarcheck my content, but I do not have an in-house editorial staff. What I do have is my wife, Rogue Mom, who after every post so far has told me she has found something needing correction, then never tells me what she found. So hopefully whatever typos or grammatical errors were in the original post have been fixed by Kevin et al.
